This unit is currently permitted for it's area, permit expires 03/26. 

*NOTE - this is a home-built unit, built by a family member, and used for appx. 20 years by the seller's family only. It's being sold AS IS. It's not insulated and no fire suppression or A/C is included. It's appropriate for smoking BBQ; the new owner may be only able to register in the state of TX (ownership is registration receipt for the license plate.) It was towed by a 1/2 ton pickup, and as a homemade unit, the estimated weight is 6000 to 7000 lbs. The ball hitch tongue lists 2,500 lbs. It takes a 2 5/16" ball.

Seller's Note: Commercial electric ventilator mounted on the roof for drawing smoke from the pit.
- There is a roof-mounted RV-type air conditioner that I would not recommend, as when the pit is opened, the smoke is not handled well by the air unit. It would need work done if you chose to use it.
-The smoker is a commercial unit built by my father-in-law, who built pits for barbecue restaurants across Texas. It has a wood-burning fire box with a damper control for maintaining a steady temperature. Above the firebox is a holding oven.
- Under the metal flooring there is wood attached to the metal framework. This is the only wood used in the unit.
- The trailer is safe for travel as long as the proper vehicle is used to tow it. As stated in the specs, the tires are new.
